I’m Abhinav Swaminathan, based in Brooklyn. I build applied AI systems in healthcare—mostly the unglamorous work of turning messy clinical and market data into software people actually use in production.

I’m the founder of Astrix Health (YC F24), where we’ve been building agentic pipelines to aggregate and operationalize fragmented US healthcare market data, and shipping the surrounding infrastructure: retrieval, orchestration, and customer-facing workflows alongside hospitals, life sciences, digital health, and medtech partners.

Before that I was at Palantir as a deployment strategist, embedded with large healthcare organizations and helping stand up some of the earliest LLM-powered tools in places like the NHS—always with an eye on trust, evaluation, and what it takes to run in regulated settings. Earlier roles spanned AI-enabled cardiovascular imaging at Ultromics, value-based care analytics at Evolent, and biomedical informatics engineering at MedStar.
